What We Look At

Your facial characteristics

Face shape, the width of your temples, the height of your cheekbones, the length of your nose and the set of your eyes all change which frames will sit well and look balanced. We bring a selection that works with your features rather than against them.

Your prescription

A strong prescription needs a frame that keeps the lenses thin and light: the right eye size, a well-centred lens and a thoughtfully chosen lens material. Varifocal wearers need enough depth in the frame for the reading zone. We check all of this before you fall in love with a frame.

Your lifestyle

Glasses for the office, for driving, for sport and for evenings out make different demands. We will ask how and where you wear your glasses and recommend accordingly, including when a second pair makes sense.

How It Works

Allow around 30 minutes. We talk about what you like and dislike about your current glasses, measure your face and fitting, and try frames from the collection, from Cartier and Lindberg to Cutler & Gross and Tart. Every frame is adjusted to you before you leave, and there is never any obligation.
